ProSiebenSat.1 is the Exclusive Partner of Sony Online Entertainment in Europe

You may have read the recent announcement that SOE is expanding our partnership with ProSiebenSat.1 to include EverQuest, Vanguard, Bullet Run, and Wizardry Online. ProSiebenSat.1 Games and Sony Online Entertainment, LLC (SOE) are expanding their exclusive partnership with four online games for the European market. Following the successful launch of DC Universe™ Online on the servers of ProSiebenSat.1 Games, the games publisher from Unterföhring has secured four more exclusive licenses from SOE: Vanguard Saga of Heroes®, EverQuest®, Wizardry® Online, and Bullet Run™. This extends the portfolio of ProSiebenSat.1 Games to cover a total of 12 online games from the U.S.-based developer studio.

Donc en gros, la gestion des comptes européens des mmo SoE est confiée à une compagnie audiovisuelle allemande. Il faut savoir que cette société a signée un accord avec une société française pour faire la promotion des jeux online, cette société française étant ... TF1 ...
Bref, faut voir comment ça va se passer dans le futur, mais ça craint, surtout au niveau de la protection des données. Surtout qu'actuellement, pour creer un accompte pour jouer aux jeux de prosiebensat, dans les conditions a accepter, il y a l'installation d'un logiciel qui permet de prendre le controle à distance du PC ( enfin si j'ai bien compris, pour "faciliter" la resolution des problemes).
Bref, c'est la merde ...

C'est vrai que ça c'était tellement bien passé avec Ubisoft.... et je sais de quoi je parle

C'est un peu curieux vu que la tendance c'est plutôt de tout rapatrier en interne. SOE pense vraiment que c'est le manque de pub en Europe qui fait que ses jeux n'ont pas le succès qu'ils voudraient ?

Pas de date, mais la transition pour eq 2 sera fera dans entre 30 et 60 jours. Surement d'ici la fin de l'année pour eq, voir debut 2013.

Sont devenus quoi les jeux qui sont déjà administré par la boite ? SoE a continué a patcher ? À dév des extensions ?
Ou bien SoE refile les jeux à cette boite quand ils veulent + bosser dessus ?

Aucune idée si des jeux ont déja fait le basculement. Normalement, SoE continu a patcher et on a le contenu, la boite allemande à juste la gestion des comptes et se charge de la promo, les serveurs restent a SOE.
